Research Fellow

Mia DŽEPINA is a doctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg whose work examines how economic insecurity, health vulnerabilities, and perceptions of security shape democratic resilience and political behaviour across European societies.

Her research combines comparative evidence synthesis and cross-national data analysis with policy-oriented interpretation.

Alongside her academic work, she brings applied policy experience from EU institutions, having worked at the European Public Prosecutor’s Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

In these roles, she contributed to governance, transparency, and sustainability-related initiatives within complex, multi-level institutional settings, including inter-agency working groups on sustainability reporting and the systematic analysis of large-scale institutional datasets to identify structural trends, governance gaps, and policy-relevant insights.

She earned her master’s degree in European governance from the University of Luxembourg in 2022.
